This stately estate was first mentioned in a document in 1542. Over the centuries, the property served as a mill and was owned or held by various noble families. The mill continued to operate until the late 1960s.

In 1975, a doctor and his art-loving wife acquired the estate and restored the residential and mill buildings with great care, craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. In doing so, they preserved the historic character of the buildings and harmoniously complemented it with high-quality fittings.

The former mill building was used as a homeopathic practice. The adjoining farm buildings were converted into stables for horse and goat breeding, an organic farm and an artist’s studio.
